FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
General
Software that lets your customers pay you by bank transfer and confirms the payment automatically on your store.
No. Rekoup never holds, moves, or initiates money. Customers pay you directly.
Online merchants who can't get card processing or don't want to depend on it, especially in categories the card networks restrict.
Into your own bank account, Zelle handle, or wallet. Rekoup only sees that it arrived.
Customers
No. They pay from the bank or wallet they already use.
No. The unique amount identifies the order.
A page under your name with the exact amount to send, then a confirmation when it lands.
Money
Small overpayments with a matching sender confirm. Underpayments and everything else go to your review queue. Nothing ships on a short payment.
No. Confirmation is a compare-and-swap that succeeds only once per order, and every payment event is deduplicated by its source identifier.
You send them from your bank or app as you would any transfer. Rekoup records the refund on the order.
Your bank
Through a read-only connection with a bank data aggregator, the same kind used by budgeting and accounting apps. You authorize it and can revoke it at any time.
No. The aggregator handles authentication; Rekoup receives only transaction data.
Payments to a closed account fail at the bank, not at Rekoup. Keep a second receiving account connected so you can switch rails in the dashboard in minutes.
Plans
$99, $249, or $499 a month depending on volume, plus 50 cents per confirmed order over your allowance. Never a percentage of your sales.
Monthly plans cancel any time. Annual plans are prepaid.
