Payment methods

Every way a customer can push money to you.

Rekoup works with push rails, where the customer sends the money. That's why there are no card chargebacks and no processor in the middle. Here's what each rail is good for and where it's limited.

The honest part

Rekoup doesn't change your bank's rules or any rail's terms. Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App each restrict certain business categories and personal-account use, and banks can close accounts for activity they don't like. Rekoup helps you by making it easy to run more than one rail and more than one receiving account, and by confirming payments the same way on all of them. Read your bank's and each rail's terms, keep a second account ready, and don't put all your volume through one handle. We'll say this again in the dashboard.

Zelle for online stores

Free, instant, and the most annoying method on earth to reconcile. Rekoup fixes the second part.

Sending limits are set by the customer's bank and are often between a few hundred and a few thousand dollars a day, which caps ticket size. Use Zelle for what it's good at, retail-sized orders from customers who already have it, and run ACH or wire beside it for larger orders. Rekoup supports multiple receiving accounts so you can rotate if you need to.

  1. Step 1: Connect your bank account (read-only) and add your Zelle handle.

  2. Step 2: Install the WooCommerce plugin or use the hosted checkout link.

  3. Step 3: Customers choose Pay by bank, pick Zelle, and send the exact amount shown.

  4. Step 4: The order confirms itself.

Turn on the rails you have. Add the rest later.
